Hello… I thought of doing a count-down to Christmas by creating some Christmas card, tags or album everyday… I thought this will be interesting to create something related to Christmas. It will be fun! Stay tune…. Do let me know if you are interested to join in 🙂
For today’s card – I thought I used a stamp set from papertreyink – Homemade from year 2010. This is the first set that I fall in love with and start purchasing from them. I have only created a house which I made for a colleague as a house-warming gift. I thought it will be fun to used for a Christmas card too 🙂 Love the windows and doors!
I started off a dark chocolate cardstock 5 x 5 and cut a arrow head as the house top. Then I started to paste a pattern paper on top and cut the shape out. Then I stamped the window onto pattern paper and cut them out! Love the window where you could flip it out. And also stamped the door and cut the four rectangular out and paste with red pattern paper.
I have a strip of scallop border and added some glitter on top. Love the effect on it. To make the house a little more realistic, I have stamped versamark onto the dark chocolate cardstock. Isn’t it so pretty to make a house card?
