Tutorial – Embellishment 101

Hello everyone, i thought i will just share my post at Skipping Stone Design – Tips and tricks thursday  here – on how you use to make the embellishment for my little purse, bra and butterfly.

Isn’t it the cutest embellishment  you ever seen? I love making my own embellishments and hope to share with you on how to make them. Ok let’s go!

Here is the materials you need: white cardstock, stamps from skipping stone design – Bra volumn #2, Birthday purse, Healing Wings, some twines, Scor-tape, flower and versafine onxy ink.

First you need to stamp images onto white cardstock with versafine ink and cut the image out and stick with scor-tape. If you do not have scor-tape, you can try to use liquid glue or other adhesive. But i find that scor tape is the BEST!! It’s sticky!!! Love it!

Once you have prepare your image, you can start the ‘FUN’ part! It’s playing with your twine! Then you can start your twining… just line the twine against the image up and down as shown in the photo.

As for the bra image, you will need to line the outer area first and continue with one side.

Once you finished one side, you can cut away the twine and start to complete the other side. Once you are done. you have a pretty embellishment for you to start your decoration!

Here is the finished cards which I made! Hope you like what i have shared 🙂 Thank you!
