World Card Making Day

Today is a very special day!

World Card Making Day was founded by Paper Crafts Magazine in 2006 as a way to unite card makers and give them a kick start to their holiday card making. Today, card making is a hobby recognized all over the world and statistically 92% of paper crafters create cards more than any other project.

Here is my card , using Skipping Stone Design’s Timeless Texture background stamp! I stamp with versamark onto plum pudding cardstock and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Afterwhich I used the white Opal liquid pearls to add some interest to the design. It appears to be a perfect pattern paper right? That’s why I love stamping to create different color background and pattern with cardstock!

To celebrate this fun holiday, the SSD DT is doing a fun blog hop! Come take a ride with us and then spend your day making cards!

  1. This is so elegant and beautiful! I have trouble with purple usually, but I absolutely adore how you’ve worked it here. Just stunning. Thanks for sharing and happy WCMD.
