With Sympathy

Happy Friday!!! I love Friday. I think everyone do too…because it going to be WEEKEND again!!! How time files… Yesterday I am urged to join the challenge for the following :

I love the colour using brown, green, blue and orange to create this card of mine. Love the vintage look of the card -the brown flower stamp image is the focal point of my card. I am loving color box chalk ink – they create very good stamped images- especially the chestnut roan chalk ink from color box. I am still finding a good ink to use for stamp images.  Do you have any to recommend?

Stamp background is what I am currently into right now. I am loving the stamp images.  Afterwhich I die cut the spring moss cardstock with eyelet lace border. Stamp Polka Basic 2 background stamp onto vintage cardstock and adhere the two strip of eyelet lace. For the sentiments, I used a spring moss cardstock and stamp on the same background polka dot, hand cut one eyelet lace into half to adhere the end of my sentiments.

Thats all I have for you today. Hope you like this card!!!

Have a wonderful Friday and enjoy the coming weekend :)

Love,

Gladys

Here is the card sketch #48:

Here is my take:

For the first card: Thanks! Card - I run the kraft cardstock through the impression plate: picnic plaid from papertreyink and used my spellbinders to create windows using the rectangle one. Cut two scallop border and cut my Cosmo Cricket – Material Girl. Use it to cut the flowers and do a embellishment. And draw white faux stitches around it.

For the Second card: Dream On! Card - I used the negative of the Kraft Cardstock that i have from the first card as my card base. I stamped the clouds background stamp from Hero Arts with fresh snow ink from papertreyink . I am loving this background. You will see me using it on most of my card! And you can see the embossing background show up! How beautiful with some texture. The focal image is from Unity KOM and I colored it using prisma color pencil. For the grass patch, I used a green cardstock and used my scissor to cut them randomly . And finish them off with a ribbon.

Let me know what you think, ya! I love comments! Thanks :)
