Happy Mother’s Day – cupcake card

Hello… I am back with another Mother’s Day card using cupcake from papertrey ink. Love cupcakes :) Who doesn’t? They are popping all over. This card is actually for the challenge at papertreyink April 2012 blog hop here. But I am late :(

Love the stamped cupcake using pink & aqua mist. Topped up with the heartshape sprinkles. I die cut the button die cut collection and stamp with the tranquility trilogy stamp set with white embossing powder. I love the effect of embossing. And die cut another and stamped with  button boutique and cut out the center.

Thank for looking!

Make a wish… Happy Birthday!

Hello… I have a card “Make a wish… Happy Birthday!” It’s all about cupcake which I love! Birthday is all year round. Everyone need a birthday card to send. Do you have time to make yours?

Here is the card using Webster pages pattern paper – Petite Papers Collection Triple Pack -”Let’s Celebrate, All about me & Western Romance 6 x 6 double sided papers. Love this collection. I have die cut some cupcakes from this paper series and make this cup cake:

This card uses the fillable frame I additional stamp from papertrey ink to create this long shape inspired by Make It Monday #55 – Creating large frame with smaller frame Challenge. And I have also stamped onto Mat Stack 2 using plum pudding cardstock on top to create the focal image. Adding buttons top & bottom.

One last thing, if you’re looking to get arts and crafts stuff and you’re on a budget check out these Amazon coupons for everything you might need.

Gel-a-tins DT – Girly Cupcake shape card & featured

Hello… Here is card using Gel-a-tins stamp – Sewing kit. :) I love those buttons esp. those BIG ones!!!

For this card, I used the Echo paper- Summer Dayl! so sweet and cute! I stamped the largest button image from Gelatins - Sewing kit
and punch them out. And added some glitters to it! so sweet! Added some of my favourite thing – pom pom and scallop border. to finish up the card. A very simple and colorful card made for a girl!

Oh before I go, I got a shout out at  Paper Issue Challenge: “Let’s ride” for featuring my bicycle card! Thanks Paper Issue!

Do leave some love to the designers!

Sweet Cupcake I love…

I love cupcake :) Do you? I fall in love with this cupcake shape when papertreyink introduced them. It’s the sweetest thing ever. Have you notice a trend in my cards that I keep using the same pattern paper – Be loved by My Mind’s Eyes. I am seriously a hoarder!!!! I have way too many pattern papers which I still have not used. Have you count if you are a card maker or scrapper? How many card or layout you can made using a single kit of collection? Can you finish using up every single piece? What do you do to them? Throw them away or keep them aside? I am interested how you store them especially your scraps!!! Seriously its piling up here.

Here is the up close of the cupcake where the tag #3 can be removed from the card. isnt it the sweetest ever? I have die cut the No.2 onto the tag and stamp my sentiment on the tags. As for the cupcake, I have cover it with a red polka dot tulle , added a hambly doilies lace on top and a heart shape where I adhere the twine in circle and topped with a flower. Lastly added a ribbon to finish off the card.

Hope you like what I have shared. I am so excited that one of my cards is being selected for Create : Stamping issue for CARDS Magazine!!!!

Thanks for looking.

Gladys
